Post Mortem by cataclysmic_calamity is a threadfic that is now completely archived on AO3!
WangXian, E, 79k. Modern AU, serial killers, friends with benefits, drug addiction, angst with a happy ending
This fic deals with some heavy topics in an interesting way. Wei Ying basically becomes the “final girl” in a very real horror movie that his life suddenly turns into, Lan Zhan unwavering support at his side. Had me on the edge of my seat. Has a happy ending but heed the warnings.

As You’ve Always Been by vesna was really entertaining.
WangXian, E, 15k, Modern with cultivation AU, getting together, hurt/comfort
It's not that Wei Ying has anything against Lan Zhan—on the contrary. But they aren't exactly on the best terms these days, and Wei Ying needs this job. Lan Zhan getting in the way will just complicate matters.
Or, a spontaneous night hunt together leads to unexpected results.
