* 석진아 고마워!! by KoreMemai - A wonderful piece thanking Jin for the concerts. I love that the artist has included both BT21's RJ and Wootteo, i.e. Jin's children.

* It's the big shot by bakbakjimin - Fabulous piece featuring Hobi alongside all 5 members of Le Sserafim for their collabo "Spaghetti", hehehe.

* Untitled piece by tAkichAN_77 - LOLARIOUS depiction of Yoongi NOT going along with the Chapter 2 theme of showing skin, heheh.

* Untitled Jin portrait by ScrambledCurler - I really dig how well the artist drew Jin (from his W Korea photoshoot some weeks after he was discharged from the military).

* Murphy's Law by smashthatlikebutton (Mature, Seokjin/Hobi, 33.8k) - Non-Idol Fake Dating AU that features (semi?) platonic OT7 (this is where the "complicated relationships" tag does the hardest work (but in a good way!)).

Low angst in the sense that my heart wasn't like broken (or even bruised), but there IS some good conflict happening from beginning to end. Quite lulzy and sexy (the latter w/o having any explicit scenes, but I was still like 🥵 , NGL.)

Check, Please! Nursey/Dex fic

So apparently I read this fic in 2020 and loved it - and just rediscovered it a few nights ago. It'd been 5 years so it was new to me all over again (I love how this happens!).

Basically if you're in the Check, Please! fandom and you like Nursey/Dex, you should read this fic. It's a long fic - 5 chapters of 10,000+ words each - that tracks Dex's emotional growth from when he was a taddy to his junior year. It integrates with the webcomic so much that it's like the story behind the scenes. Dex goes through some really challenging situations, from homophobic family members to coming to terms with his crush on Nursey. I love when my boy gets to go on an emotional growth spurt, and this fic has it in abundance.

One of the best fics in the fandom. Hands down.

- Halloween at the x mansion but it’s just everyone wearing starfleet uniforms. Charles does Not think it’s funny. (absolutely hilarious but the bonus is just *chef's kiss*)

I keep entering fics in my fic db every week, and the last few weeks I've had some nice fics but nothing that was a favorite to rec here - but not this week! This week I do have one funny little fic in the Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman fandom that people might enjoy for a light read:
