Three MDZS/Untamed fic recs from me today:
Turn away at the western gate by Mhalachai (13k)
Summary: Cast out of the Cloud Recesses in secrecy following Qingheng-Jun’s death, the woman who was once Madam Lan makes her way across the lands as she mourns the loss of her sons. In Yiling she finds a small child, himself missing his parents. Can Liu Meihui help little Wei Ying when she can’t even help herself? (a take on non-jiang!WWX I haven't seen before)

Summary: “How could you let him?” she asked abruptly. It came out—menacing. Her own voice hadn’t been capable of conveying anger like that. If she’d tried very hard to rage, it would have been shrill and unimpressive, and if she’d spoken the way she’d tried to just now, it might have chilled the right room but it would still have sounded gentle. A-Cheng’s voice had no softness in it, and both boys went very still. (brief glimpse of a fascinating things-post!WWX's-death-go-very-different AU)

Summary Snippet: After the Sunshot Campaign, rumors of a monster living in the forest of Yiling spread. Hanguang-jun is known to be wherever the chaos is. Alternative title: Little White Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wen Wolf (great AU and written for the 2020 MXTX Big bang, so it also has incredible art)
