In a shocking turn of events some newer/lesser known MDZS/Untamed fic recs from me today:

Core-Thieving Hand by x_los (5k)
Summary: Too clever for their own good, Wen Qing and Wei Wuxian develop a form of cultivation that could bring an end to the war. It could also bring an end to the world they know. (very interesting Golden-Core-transfer-going-differently canon divergent AU)

The Ballad of Hanguang-Jun and The Yiling Patriarch by Theladyofravenclaw (40k)
Summary: An eccentric playwright writes an entire play about Wei Wuxian after being saved by him and Wen Qing, however, it's not entirely accurate. What they get wrong and how it changes the public's opinion of the Yiling Patriarch through the art of theater. (what it says on the tin slightly cracky and fun canon divergent AU.)

Summary Snippet: War was coming. Every day the sun burned hotter. The Wen would take, and take, and take, and the sects must be ready if they were to withstand the heat. If the Jiang could not ally themselves with someone besides the ever-fickle Jin, they would burn; their docks would stain with blood. (In war, sacrifices must be made. Wei Wuxian was all too familiar with the concept of sacrifice.) (this new WWX-marries-into-the-lan arranged marriage AU ends a bit abruptly but was still quite good)

The marchmetamatterschallenge wrapped up over the weekend and there is a ton of meta newly available in the challenge collections.

One I think anyone could enjoy is Rosemarycat5's Cursing In Writing -- good analysis and advice!

I found an ATLA fic I really enjoyed recently, it's another take on the Water Tribe Zuko trope that I think works really well!

Love Runs Deeper than Blood by HanukoYoukai

Ursa adored the boy. Iroh doted on him. Azulon would coo at the child when he thought others weren’t watching. Even Lu Ten, who often declared the baby boring, would play with Zuko near the turtleduck pond. No, it seemed Ozai was the only one who saw what a disappointment his son was.
No matter. His problem would be dealt with by morning.
