FIC

* Pants on Fire by Jademin (Explicit, Seokjin/Yoongi, 18.3k words) - Non-Idol AU in which Jin's trying his hardest (no, he really isn't) to get along with his new roommate (Yoongi) after his first roommate (RM) moved with his bf (Jimin).

Some things to keep in mind: Jin is a HEAUX and doesn't really have a problem with that. He's also a slob (LOOOOL). Yoongi's v. frustrated. EVENTUALLY, both of them learn to unclench and really get along, heheh.


* chogiyo by shouramyun (Explicit, Yoongi/Jimin, 9.6k) - V. fun Yoonmin (with background VHope and Namkook) Non-Idol AU in which Jimin constantly "declares'' that he's going to break up with Yoongi...but doesn't. IF you like whiny/needy Jimin and not-a-tsundere!Yoongi, then this fic will hit the spot. I'd go as far as saying it's cracky treated almost seriously.

battleshipex had reveals late last week and here are some recs from it - there is so many works, over 2k and I could have recced 5x the number I did, these are just a smattering of (mostly art) I liked, check out the whole collection for more art, fic, and podfics here (all works still anon):

DCU
- The Dark Dough (Rises), [podfic] The Dark Dough (Rises) and accompanying art, That Dough is Toast (Wherein Jason tries to revive his sourdough starter but things get out of hand - hilarious story, 1.5k, with great art and accompanying podfic)

MDZS/Untamed
- best of bad choices. Summary: portrait of wen qing <3 (gorgeous)

Original Work (split vaguely into groups of dragons, animals or monster, and then mermaid art recs and then a fic):
- Shoulder Dragon Cafe. Summary: It's where you get some breakfast and hot chocolate and cuddle with the dragons after a hard adventure. (amazingly detailed and very cute)
- [Art] Fly-by. Summary: An ancient forest dragon and a young frost drake meet briefly in passing. (two incredible and very different dragons!)
- [Art] Companion Summary: A shoulder dragon is the best companion of all! (adorable)

- Horse Comics a series of three comics (simple and silly but cute)
- My Tower Is Next Door Neighbors With A Lonely Tentacle Monster Who Lives In A Volcano . Summary: Imagine being assigned to study the fearsome monster next door for your fire mage thesis but he's so shy! (sfw catboy wizard vs/ tentacle monster)
- A New Home [Art] Summary: Little cat finds a new home. (very cute comic)
- Edwardian Couple Summary: Two prim and proper hamsters trying to hold still for the camera. (utterly delightful!)
- So Fluffy Summary: cows got milk 'n hens got eggs 'n sheep got fluff instead of legs (two absolutely adorable fluffy sheep)
- [Art] Buffy the One-Headed Cerberus (adorable doggie art)
- Four Seasons Summary: A cat and a bunny's friendship through the seasons (four adorable sketches)
- Plantcupine Summary: A porcupine-lemongrass hybrid forages for food. (innovative and cute!)

- Just Don't Call Me Late For Dinner Summary: Spending all day in the mines means being greeted by very hungry animals when he makes it back home. (dumbo octopus miner mermaid feeding his manatee, delightful)
- The Little Magmaid [Art] Summary: Oh, today is a good day. Today, her favorite volcano is erupting again (beautifully drawn magma-volcano mermaid ala The Little Mermaid)
- mermaids... IN SPACE! (beautifully done astronaut and space mermaid)
- Underwater (NSFW mermaid art)
- [Art] Too Deep Summary: A hapless diver may have found more than he bargained for... (wonderful monochrome art with a creepy lamprey mermaid)

- an im-possum-ble mission (618 words, locked to archive) Summary Snippet: Trash day at the wildlife reserve is the best time to sneak into the raccoon's enclosure. The silly little beings are too caught up in making sure they get a peak at the dumpster before their precious trash is hauled away that they won't notice a small group of possums sneaking into their habitat. (an absolutely delightful fun fic)
