This works great if you only have one rec and don't want to make a whole post for it, or if you don't have a DW account, or if you're shy. ;)

knitcrafts by seok_jinaaa - A whole collection of ICONIQUE things related to Jin ever since he returned to civilian life (including but not limited to his pink mic, the 2024 Olympic torch, his Good Day pjs, etc).

* everything is magic by brightlight (Rated Teen, RM/Taehyung/Jimin/Jungkook,
background Jin/Hobi, 74k split across two fics) Non-Idol AU in which magical beings exist.
College student!JK meets witches!Vmon and their human bf!Jimin. Slow burn with a lot of fun idol cameos. The first fic is low heat, sequel is porny (heheh).

I liked the way that JK came out of his shell, seeing him form connections, as well as interact
with an aunt and his older brother. Mild warning for JK being an anxious bean at times. V. chill series that's a perf weekend read.


* if you don't have a song to sing, you're
okay by sureaintmebabe (Rated Gen,Yoongi/Jungkook, 3.1k) - Established relationship in which Yoongi comforts Jungkook after a bad day.


* your smile so cruel by sereko (Explicit, RM/Taehyung with background OT7, 4.2k) -
Sometimes, V gets in a mood and zeroes in on one of the members. 5th Muster is over and he's solely focusing on Namjoon...who has never been submissive. Thankfully, Yoongi's there to help too. I really, really liked the writing in this fic: it was sensual and quite intense with a sprinkle of creepy. Because having all of Taaehyung's attention must feel hella overwhelming. Mainly Vmon with some Yoongi moments for extra heat…

* Bro Do You Even? by Rubylove (Explicit, RM/Jungkook, 6.8k) - Non-Idol AU in which RM and JK are neighbors who tend to work out together at the same late hours. It turns flirty and then porny in the best of ways, heheh.

Back to my usual MDZS/Untamed reccing, here's recs for two new fics from July:

Roadside Attractions by Bodldops (10k)
Summary: According to Lan Wangji, Yiling has two main items of interest. First, there is a supposedly demonic cultivator who a) may not exist and b) if he does, is keeping the town remarkably safe and not demonic. Secondly, there is Wei Ying, a man he is falling in love with. These are definitely two separate things. (delightful modern-with-cultivation fic)

Rule of Law by Deastar (2k)
Summary: Lan Jingyi shuffles into the office looking as if he’s eaten something unpleasant.
“Hanguang-jun,” he says, with some trepidation. “I can’t believe I’m about to say this, but… I think what the cultivation world needs is a—a code of rules. Written down.” (I'd like to think LWJ helped push changes like this as Chief Cultivator, or at least tried)
