The (mostly) BTS' NAMJOON ALL-FANART REC MINI-LIST (●'◡'●)

Since it was Namjoon (RM)'s birthday on 9/12, I've centered this week's theme on fanarts celebrating him. Well, mostly. I had to tip my hat to the collabo too. :D

* The lonely whale is not lonely anymore by AchanIsHere - A v. sweet piece inspired by "My Universe", the upcoming BTS x Coldplay collabo.


* September boys by sleeepyrabbit_ - Simple and pretty fanart of Jungkook an RM, the two BTS' members whose birthdays fall on September. Aside from a good likeness, I love how the artist has stuck to cooler tones (from the pink to grays and blues.)


* So many plants… by koobunii - V. cool lineart of a bare-chested RM tending to his plants. I even like the whimsy of the extra cats hanging about.


* Untitled fancraft by Sonitchka2 - A super adorbs crocheted version of RM's beloved Baby Plum Bonsai.


* Untitled fanart by 8cc_5 - Neat collection of doodles inspired by RM's vlive from Sept. 13th.


* Untitled fancraft by mikrogukk - What a gorgeous embroidery that combines RM's painting he did during Season 1 of In The SOOP aesthetic plus his love of Nature.


* Untitled RM fanart by DDbts_0504 - It's so cool how the artist tapped into several of the things that Namjoon loves (like Nature, small things, baby shoes, ARMY) and added a supernatural element with a almost god-like!Namjoon watching all of the items. I also really dig how the piece goes from the cool blues to the warmest yellows.

It's art based on a fic of Sam trying to set up Ted and Rebecca. I haven't read the fic yet but this art of them all falling into Rebecca's office is too cute not to share. :D

Fic:

Deeper than Snow by serenade (Fairytales/Snow White, Snow White/Prince Charming, G, 1484)
Snow White finds a way to hide from the magic mirror.
I really love this take on the fairy tale and the story read like one itself too. Overall interesting and well done.

Oh wow that Bollywood fanart has so much EMOTION! It's also v. pretty. Thank you for reccing it and the rest of the fanarts and the fic. :D

I have a couple.

One I just read:

Ateez, primarily, with a handful of other groups thrown in.

Summary:

Hongjoong and Mingi were the perfect couple - until they weren't. When a career opportunity came Mingi's way, he dumped Hongjoong and moved on. Fuming, Hongjoong decided that finding his own success would be the best revenge.

He was content to lead his own happily Mingi-free life as a full-time youtuber until fate put them in the same place again.

While Hongjoong very much enjoyed life without the other, Mingi never truly let go.

This is one of my old standbys:

Upon a Fiery Steed (88652 words) by Vathara

It's a crossover with Stargate SG-1 and Gundam Wing, which I read because I liked Stargate, and then it dropped me into a Gundam Wing hole. This is what I mean when I say I love crossovers (Vathara has a TON, too, and I love them). I found it years ago, found it here, and haven't stopped reading even things I don't know.
