* Jumping into the weekend with Taehyung by moonlambs - Such a cool fanart! It's so vibrant and full of color.


* Untitled Yoongi and Psy fancraft by Sonitchka2 - What an AMAZING pair of crochet dolls based on the guys' looks from the "That That" mv. I'm in awe of the amount of DETAIL this fancrafter did.


* 「 -ㅅ-「 「 -ㅅ-「 ㄱ -ㅅ-ㄱ「 -ㅅ-「 by __zzz_8 - A neat set of doodles of the Bangtan Bomb for the making of the "That That" mv.


* airport fashion by yanomanika - Super cute Yoongi/Jimin fanart inspired by what they wore to the airport during their recent trip to the US.


* proof by DreamsforHani - A neat digital fanart of one of Jimin's photos for the Proof promo.


FICS

* Kim Seokjin, Professional Miracle by magem (Explicit, Seokjin/Yoongi, 20.1k) - Seokjin's always been a lucky person. He's even managed to tap into his Luck to make a living off of it.

That is until he meets and begins to fall for one Min Yoongi. Suddenly, things aren't going smoothly in Seokjin's life…

This is a v. fun story that plays up the magical realism aspect in a way that feels organic and essential to the plot. I loved Seokjin both on his own and once he and Yoongi became an item.


* Destination Wedding by hope_and_hardship (Explicit, RM/Jimin, Seokjin/Hobi, pre-Yoongi/Jungkook + Yoongi/Taehyung, 18.6k) - RM and Jimin are getting married! Ummm, maybe...

OK, I'll admit that does sound omnious, but this story is v. much in line with romcom plots in which almost anything that could go wrong with a wedding DOES go wrong. The humor is pretty much on point, the characterizations (despite this being a Non-Idol AU) as well as the friendships ring true, and there's ultimately a lot of love. I deffo rec this fic if you're in the mood for something lighthearted.

Three new or lesser known MDZS/Untamed fic recs from me today:

Judge Softly by Chrononautical (32k)
Summary Snippet: Accidentally cursed, Lan Qiren is forced to live within Wei Wuxian's mind for days, experiencing his every thought and sensation. Much as he disapproves of demonic cultivation, resistant as he is to every excuse, he can't help growing to understand the young cultivator. (An interesting, hilarious and at times hot E rated post-canon fic)

Summary Snippet: Reincarnated as a Lan, Wen Qing lives as best she can with the knowledge—and pain—of her past life. The balance she finds is disrupted when an unfamiliar face hides a not-so-unfamiliar heart. (Really wonderful canon divergent reincarnation AU)

An Evening Well Spent by Admiranda (2.5k)
Summary: Jin Ling had hoped for a quiet evening in getting to visit with his uncles that he didn't get to see very often. Things went a bit awry. (short but sweet fic with Jin Ling discovering what LWJ is like when he has a little alcohol)

.Xemnas/Saïx by theHoleyness; I love everything about this, how it's painted, the pose, the power dynamic at play, it's all super good. <3
.Axel, Roxas, Xion by mim029; I love the composition of this especially, with Xion on one side, Axel the other, and Roxas in the middle, and the orange sunset and blue twilight around them. It has that bittersweet feel that 358/2 Days evokes. <3

I rather enjoy commentaries and discussions by creators of their own works. This is particularly true for vids but this may be the first time I've seen it re:icons (especially for something that isn't a technical tutorial)

A couple of things: intoabar fics are starting to show up, and if you want some INSANE crossovers, this is the best. I just read a Babylon 5/Scooby Doo fic called Points of Arrival that is delightful.

Second, MingCheng (Nie Mingjue/Jiang Cheng, MDZS) Week 2022 is currently going! Three of my favorite authors are taking part: feline_somnabulist, syriala, and Pyrria is doing two: A sides and B sides.
