FANART

* Untitled Taehyung portrait by ssunonion - What a beautiful and sensual piece


* "He’s sleeping next to me" by smol_kia - A tender moment based on Taehyung's live from early February. I really like the coziness of the moment and the vibrant colors in Jungkook's tattoos.


* hungry~ by nayamioo - A V/Jimin/Jungkook moment of naughtiness. It's lovely. NSFW-ish due to implied sexual goings on.


* Untitled "Smoke Sprite" fanart by iamkaeno - Super artsy collage of scenes from the "Smoke Sprite" mv. I really loved that the artist focused on the close-up of RM's eyes.


* Crocheted Jimin doll by Sonitchka2 - A doll inspired by Jimin's MV for "Set Me Free Part 2". The fact that the artist did this doll in TWO DAYS is !!!!. The detail of Jimin's (fake) chest tattoos alone…wow!


FICS

* my sweet fireball by sports (Explicit, Seokjin/Jungkook, 13k) - Canon compliant AU and a 5+1 type of fic on how Jinkook came to be.

I really enjoyed reading abt Seokjin acknowledging and processing the way his feelings shifted thru the years from 'aw, the maknae' to 'oh, Jungkook is an ADULT". The Seokjin characterization (which can be hard to pin down) was also chef's kiss.


* Mona Lisa in a Hanbok by yoongiyoongi (Mature, Yoongi/Jimin, 11.4k) - A canon compliant AU set around the time BTS filmed a few things including season 1 of In the SOOP and some music videos.

If you like petty-yet-sweet!Jimin, then this might be the fic for you. Amid all of the lulz, there are v. introspective moments both for Jimin as well as for Yoongi. Some parts of the plot are a bit OTT in a way that reminded me of the USian screwball comedies of the 1930s and 1940s.

A change of pace and some tumblr art recs from me today:

Batman: Robin Dick Grayson showing up to the crime scene but instead of his lil boots he’s wearing these - Robin in kermit the frog slippers. Adorable.
Guardian: Guarding the Guardian - a sleeping Zhao Yunlan with guard!kitty
MDZS/The Untamed:
- i wish i could go back and tell him that it will be all right - heartbreaking yet sweet
- A-yuan ❤ - A-Yuan in the tree right after the siege, beautifully done
- poorly-drawn-mdzs is retelling the story of MDZS via poorly drawn (yet hilarious) comics. The first is here and they all have a convient 'next' button. They're all wonderful, If you like the story in the untamed/mdzs go check them out!
Merlin:
- i just think they shouldve gotten ONE hug where they werent enchanted or like. dying - They absolutely should have and this hug is adorable :)

I'm going to assume this has spoilers for its prequel, "Fluff" (https://archiveofourown.org/works/33311041), which I haven't read yet because it's hiding in my Kindle somewhere. Actually I should just download it again to make sure (*does so*) and read the bloody thing. It's got ducks. ANYWAY, for reasons that don't need exploring at this juncture, Ray, Aziraphale has a cricket ball named Clarence. He's in a broody mood and occasionally sits on him/them.

Chased by a scandal that got him suspended from his team, pro gamer Jeongguk flees to his quaint hometown in southern Jeju-do. Between cabbage fields, tangerine orchards, and the murmur of the ocean, it’s so easy to fall back into old habits. Like Kim Namjoon.

I liked the ~texture of the story, the overall feel of it, a lot.
