A new job brings Wei Ying to London, and back into Lan Zhan's life. Many things have changed since their time in boarding school (Lan Zhan is out of the closet, arranges charcuterie boards, stocks a fine bar…), but their friendship slots right back into place like no time has passed. Wei Ying is a little perplexed by the fact that Lan Zhan apparently doesn't have any interest in dating anyone despite being an obvious catch—but hey, at least that means he doesn't have to fight anyone for Lan Zhan's time and attention. And besides, it's not like Wei Ying is in any big rush to find himself a girlfriend either. It’s all working out great!
Great modern AU with so many feels! I wanted to skim a bit and then stayed up rreading until 2am to finish it. XD

The cultivation world knows that Wei Wuxian is dead. It knows that the Yiling Patriarch has appeared, dangerous and powerful enough for Wen Ruohan to offer an alliance.
And a prize.
The Wen Sect is happy to agree when the Yiling Patriarch demands one of their hostages, Lan Wangji.
This was really good! I felt so much for WangXian here, who come into this situation with very different expectations and knowledge. I also really enjoyed the perspectives of the other characters.

The golden core procedure goes wrong, leaving both Jiang Cheng and Wei Wuxian coreless and thrown into the Burial Mounds together.
Very interesting canon divergence fic! Loved the Jiang siblings feels in this, the political scheming going on, and the slow burn romance of especially WangXian. Also enjoyed Jiang Cheng and his IDGAF attitude and Wei Wuxian having the hardest time dealing with everything.

After giving away his golden core and being thrown into the Burial Mounds, Wei Wuxian takes his revenge on the Wen sect without crossing paths with the Sunshot Campaign.
With no trace of him found, his loved ones have no choice but to believe he died in the Burial Mounds, and go into mourning.
But then strange things start to happen around Yunmeng ... and in Lanling, Jin Guangshan has only begun to take advantage of the power vacuum left behind by the war.
As I was already in the Jiang family feels, I read this fic right after the previously recced one. XD The friendship between Jiang Cheng and Lan Wangji was really good and I thought the depiction of Wei Wuxian's fragile mental state was well done.
