* hello, goodbye by soobing (Mature, RM/Jungkook, background V/Jimin/Yoongi, Hobi/OFC, Seokjin/OFC, past JK/OMC, 18.6k) - This is a future fic in which, after a terrible accident, BTS disbands. Everyone else seems to be doing okay/living their lives except for Namjoon. He's really struggling.

Once he's done with his military enlistment, he shows up at JK's home. Which is odd because their bond is a bit strained. Plus JK's deal with life after his divorce...

LOVED the writing, the angst, and how Namjoon resurfaced and reconnected with the rest of the guys. His is the only POV we get and it's painful, cerebral, and vulnerable. At the same time, this is a v. healing-type of story; one that smooths everything out in a happy ending that's v. hard earned.

TW/CW for a hospital scene in which one of the members has been seriously injured, RM being super depressed, two on-page panic attacks, and characters using alcohol to cope with feelings.

* Because the Moon Looked Lonely by thehoyden (Explicit, Jimin/Jungkook, 6.5k.) - Canon Divergence AU in which BTS doesn't happen BUT most of the Tannies end up working in the Kpop and entertainment business.

Jimin's fresh off bad breakeup when he gets assigned as the producer for idol!Jungkook's next album. GREAT storytelling in a short format. Fun cameos from everyone.

Summary: ‘Alright, fine,’ huffs Wei Ying, blowing out his cheeks. He adjusts his grip on the smooth hilt of the sword, as cold as wet stone beneath his palm. ‘How do I give this back to you?’
‘I must trade with you something of equal worth,’ says the strange man.
‘Uh. Okay.’ Wei Ying rubs his forehead with his free hand. ‘How about your name? Your real name.’ In case he needs to file a police report or stalk this beautiful, scary man on google or something.
The man looks even more angry. He pulls his shoulders back and draws himself to his full height, which is rather impressive and forces Wei Ying to tip his chin up slightly.
‘My name is Lan Zhan,’ the man says. (I've been following this fascinating 'dark academia (but not) au' since it began in February and it finally posted its final part on Sunday so I can finally rec it!)
