"Are you the owner?" "That's me! Are you looking for a room?" The man didn't step back from the doorway, but his smile didn’t dim. "I am from the Lan sect. We were contacted to come take care of a haunting." The young owner blinked, and his smile dimmed. "No. I didn't contact you. We don't have any problems that require cultivators. Someone is probably trying to pull a prank." Lan Zhan’s brow furrowed. "We have already been paid. I can -" "Congrats on the free money! Go away." The door slammed in Lan Zhan's face.
