This is a rec for an Explicit fic where the smut does the heavy emotional lifting and is the catalyst for serious character growth. The uncommon kink (at least for my ships) is mutual masturbation. Amazing role reversal AU with Leia as a sith and Kylo as a jedi. The artist has actually done a few panels for this AU that are linked in the original post.
