i've been on twitter since 2012/13 but never really thought to look for fanart there until this past year or so and now i have an entire separate twitter account dedicated solely for fanart recs! fanartrecs, if anyone is interested. (there's quite a bit of nsfw retweets, do be warned.)
anyway, here's some fanart recs from twitter i've come across lately!
clueless cher and dionne by _tasiams i love clueless and was SO happy to come across this art of cher and dionne. i love this artist's interpretation of the characters and the clothes and colors are just great.
emma (2020) four screencap studies by _tasiams more 2020 emma fanart! yes, please!! i let out a gasp when i came across this just a few hours ago. the art is so soft and ethereal with pastel pink tones. just gorgeous.
it (2017 movies) richie/eddie fake screenshot by trashcanprince this is a gorgeous what-if of what could have happened at the end of the second IT movie if [spoilers] hadn't happened and in my mind this is now canon!
these next few are for fandoms i either have only passing knowledge of or don't know at all but the art was so gorgeous i bookmarked it anyway.
legend of zelda: zelda and link by viria13 this made me laugh despite barely knowing the fandom and the art itself is gorgeous. instantly transported me to a magical world.
mexican gothic: noemi by jemlincreations character design for the main character of a book that came out recently. bold and beautiful colors and the details are spectacular.
revue starlight: mykr but make it a spy romance by jawlipops no idea what this fandom is but wlw spies but it's basically f/f spy romance and i want a movie of it right now.
and these last three are oc's of the artists but i just had to rec them.
