Accidental theme from me again today, this time Untamed/MDZS Modern-With-Cultivation AUs:

The Commonwealth of Jianghu v. Jiang Cheng by nevertheless (nev_longbottom) (4.6k)
Summary:
FACTS: Wei Ying alias Wuxian was suspected of criminal activity. The Commonwealth of Jianghu obtained a warrant for arrest. The arresting officers were in pursuit when Wei died in view of officers and surviving heirs. Legal heirs claimed the suspect's qiankun pouch off his body and refused to turn over to arresting party. The Commonwealth of Jianghu brought an action against defendant Jiang for refusing to surrender Wei property. Defendant Jiang appealed, arguing that the Commonwealth had a warrant against Wei not Jiang therefore warrant did not entitle the Commonwealth to the property.

ISSUE: Whether law enforcement can require a surviving estate to surrender the property of a deceased suspect on a warrant in the name of the deceased.

ANSWER: No

FICS

* Multiple Choice by smashthatlikebutton (Mature, RM/Seokjin, casual Seokjin/Yoongi, casual RM/Jungkook, implied Taehyung/Jimin, 20.6k) - Non-Idol AU in which Yoongi and Jin have been best friends for around a decade AND have also been in a strictly FWB situation. Again, there are NO romantic feelings between them, just friendship and sex.

ANYWAYS, Yoongi and Jungkook are roommates. One morning, while getting ready to leave after some adult fun, Seokjin meets Jungkook's FWB dude…

I loved the platonic OT7 vibes, the way that the characters handled the FWB thing (there was no cheating involved), and the different ships that developed in the story. This fic is on the lower end of the heat level since the focus is more on the friendships and Namjin becoming the endgame ship. A+ stuff.
