* Untitled fanart by GinArtist - As someone who love the "Yoongi Marry Me" meme, I couldn't not rec this piece, hahaha.

FICS

* twice, again by theundiagnosable (Rated General Audiences, Taehyung/Jimin, 3.2k) - Future fic that's all abt a v. mellow day in the life for Jimin and Taehyung. It was a cozy read.


* Table for Two by Zee (Rated Teen, Yoongi/Seokjin, 3.7k) - Yoongi wants to try a local restaurant's offer of a 'free entree' to couples. Unfortunately, he's single. So, after much searching and pleading, his friend Taehyung sets him up with some dude named Seokjin who is willing to play along.

This is a cute and short fic that puts a fluffy spin on the Fake Dating trope.

From me today recs for three new (either posted or completed this week) MDZS/The Untamed fics:
Messiah to the Monsters by MarbleGlove. (9.5k)
Summary: The establishment of the Yiling Wei Sect of ghost path cultivators was not happy or intentional, but a consequence of being under siege from detractors and supporters alike. Wei Wuxian invites the fake Yiling Patriarch disciples to take a chance at becoming real Yiling Patriach disciples. (a darker, but more political savvy WWX changes the events of the first siege of the Burial Mounds in this interesting canon divergent fic)

Summary: “Yiling Patriarch,” he begins, and Wei Wuxian’s face clouds.

“Please. That’s not – you know me, Zewu-jun. What’s wrong? Why are you here?” He walks over and Lan Xichen sees he has no weapon, not even his flute. He came to meet Wangji unarmed, defenseless. With a smile on his face.

“I’m here to ask for your help. It’s Wangji. He’s ill.” (This Burial Mounds Settlement Days canon divergent fic is a great look at WWX and the Wens through Lan Xichen's eyes)

The Second Jade of Lan's late but incendiary sexual awakening by KizuKatana (41k)
Summary: Lan Zhan was not interested in sex or romantic relationships. He had watched with a dismissive glance as his classmates made fools of themselves and wasted a considerable amount of time and energy on various hook-ups and romantic entanglements.

Aside from the fact that his lack of sexual interest kept him laser focused on his school and research, Lan Zhan’s reason for it was based on something more fundamental. He did not enjoy the company of most people fully clothed, and he couldn’t really imagine that improving if they were naked.

Which was why he found himself shocked at the visceral image that slammed through his system of grabbing Wei Ying by his messy ponytail, forcing him to his knees, and fucking his mouth until he cried. (this recently completed delightful modern university AU is a technically an alternate pov for one I recced a few months ago, "Su She Eats his Heart Out," but is its own story and can be read by itself.)

I read two fic this week that really stuck with me. The first is from Arthurian legend, and I know next to nothing about canon but the prose is so lyrical and I love the way Lancelot and Gawain are so sweet and gentle with each other:
