Title: Historical Wrack (The Help and Comfort Remix)
Author: [archiveofourown.org profile] JohnAmendAll
Fandom: Doctor Who (classic series)
Character(s)/Pairing(s): Seventh Doctor, Ace McShane
Rating: General
Summary: "Right," Ace said, her thought briefly resting on the can of Nitro-Nine she'd concealed in her petticoat just in case of emergencies. "Is this why we're telling everyone I'm your wife?"

An extension of thisbluespirit's fic (which is also excellent) that is a lot of fun! And then it hits you. The characterisation is so on point.

Fandom: Doctor Who (classic series)
Character(s)/Pairing(s): Seventh Doctor/Ace
Rating: K+ (would say it's more Teen and Up)
Summary: Seventh Doctor and Ace. Just a short, blurred recounting of an adventure. I really haven't the faintest clue how to rate these things, so I'll slap a PG on it and hope that forestalls any complaints...

A bizarre and hard to follow story. However, it is very atmospheric, and the prose is wonderful. It's one of those stories that takes you for a ride basically.

Title: Things Unsaid

Fandom: Doctor Who (classic series)
Character(s)/Pairing(s): First Doctor, Susan Foreman, Barbara Wright/Ian Chesterton
Rating: General
Summary: Ian and Barbara deal with an accident. Which perhaps wasn't terribly accidental.

It's "Aliens Made Us Do It"! But it's not the "it" you were expecting. I love trope subversion and characters talking feelings to one another, and this one is *chef's kiss*. Also the ending is very funny.

Title: Tomorrow

Fandom: Doctor Who (classic series)
Character(s)/Pairing(s): First Doctor, Susan Foreman, Barbara Wright, Ian Chesterton
Rating: General
Summary: Written for Tic Tac Woe, the Apocabingo Challenge of wilful mass destruction. Prompt: Evolution/Absorbed Into New Species.

It's an interesting look at the Earth's far future, with some nice dialogue. Kudos for morbid!Barbara, that's something fans don't quite catch on while watching her serials.
