* certainties by theundiagnosable (Explicit, Taehyung/Jimin, 40.6k) A future fic (it's set in 2028, iirc) centered around Jimin, his (established) relationship with Taehyung, and the bonds between all of the BTS members.

Told from Jimin's POV, this is must read for Vmin shippers. The author did an outstanding job in portraying the Vmin dynamic (with all of its ups and downs) from pretty much every angle. Even better is that the main conflict is an internal one and, rather than run away from it, the story has Jimin having to confront his own issues without making his (or anyone else's really) characterization veer into OTTness. There's some angst, yes, but also a lot of joy and love.

Throwing in a warning that, in the story, BTS is on a yearlong hiatus for reasons other than military enlistment. Some of Jimin's anxiety comes from his worry abt what the group will be like when they get back together, whether anyone want to have a permanent solo career, etc. Finally, Jimin does experience v. complicated feelings abt his gayness. I actually do hesitate to call it internalized homophobia (though I can see how other readers might consider it that), but there we are. This too is addressed, btw, so it's not like Jimin is stuck in a self-hating loop forever.
