The Jane/Joanie relationship was one of my favourite parts of Deadwood, and this vid does a gorgeous job of highlighting their moments as individual characters and as a couple. It shows in parallel the hard roads both characters fought their way down, through survival and into their sweeter moments together. Great song choice as well that captures the series' blend of historical and modern sensibilities.

They were so good together. I really didn't see that coming when the show was first airing, and it remains one of my all-time happy fandom surprises.
