A rec-in-progress (aka a rec for an active WiP):

Izzy Gets Reverse Big Banged by Vee (Our Flag Means Death, Modern AU, Izzy Hands/Lucius Spriggs, rated M, 3k words to date) is currently up to 1/? chapters of Izzy and Lucius sharing a fandom.

The author's summary:

Voyage Unknown was a small show with no press at launch that became an internet sensation. The very first Reverse Big Bang is underway and fanfic writer Izzy knows they'll be slim pickings for his niche ship. Lucky for him there's a brand new artist in the fandom.

The canon-within-a-canon conceit and execution here is brilliant, with the reader already learning so much about who Izzy and Lucius are in this universe through the doubly fictitious Voyage Unknown characters and ship they're into. Very charming, funny, and compelling so far, and I can't wait to read more of it.
