FANART

* Fam(ily)! by lovemazeart - I'm digging the double meaning in the title. But the simplicity of this piece is just as lovely.

* One Year with Lilith by the5thmarauderG - A couple of weeks late, but I'm still all for celebrating yet one more fantastic collabo between Halsey and Yoongi. Their respective aesthetic (from the MV) is *chef's kiss*.

* Untitled Yoongi/Hobi fanart by UuughRichie - Jaw-dropping hot (despite neither one of the guys doing anything remotely sexual) crossover between AgustD's corrupt police!persona from the "Haegeum" MV and Hobi's dark clown from his "MORE" MV.


FICS

* Namjoon's Seven by go_gentle (Mature, RM/Yoongi, background V/Jimin/Jungkook, 34.7k) - Heist AU heavily inspired by the Oceans 11 franchise (up to Ocean's 8). I really, really LURVED this story. From the pacing to the setting up of the con, how the Tannies became a team, the push-and-pull between Namgi, and the writing.

FWIW, zero knowledge of the actual Oceans 11 movies is needed. If you've watched any heist movie, then you've got enough of the framework to enjoy this wonderful story.


* When Taehyung Met Seokjin by celesteavonne (Rated G, Taehyung/Seokjin, past Taehyung/Jimin, Jungkook/Jimin, Yoongi/Hobi, 49.3k) - Non-Idol AU based on an old romcom movie called When Harry When Sally.

I...am not going to presume y'al have watched it (I was barely a teenager when it premiered, haven't watched it in over 15 yrs?) , so here's the premise: Harry (who is a bit chaotic) and Sally (who is v. prim and proper) meet during college. She's giving him a ride to another city. Along the way, they start a convo abt whether or not (straight) men and (straight) women can ever be friends. With Harry saying no, that can't happen cuz sex will always get in the way and Sally saying that it IS possible for ~reasons.

From there, it covers a little over a decade in their lives as they connect and drift apart, etc. It's a romcom, though, so they end up together in the end.

In THIS fic, it's Jin giving V a ride to Seoul from (I wanna say) Busan. They argue for (Jin) and against (V) gay men being friends only.

IMHO, it's a really good story that explores queerness, community, romance, and day-to-day life in Seoul. I liked seeing all the Tannies and how they connected, etc. If you've seen the movie, then there will be some key scenes you might recognize. >:)

Summary: Lan Jingyi and Lan Sizhui travel back to the time Wei Wuxian attended the Cloud Recesses for the first time. (a very cute take on an iconic moment)

Summary: After being forced to remain stuck in his wolf form by Madam Yu, Wei Wuxian conforms to her wishes of making it appear that he's runaway from home by doing just that. When he's God knows how far from home and manages to get captured by the knights of a king he's only heard rumors of, Wei Wuxian expects to be killed or imprisoned as the king's personal attack dog. He doesn't expect to move from "exotic pet" to "closest friend" within only weeks of his stay at the king's side. This story is inspired by Bisclavret. (werewolf medieval AU)
