2 MDZS/Untamed fic recs from me today, one long and one short:

Summary: Lan Wangji encounters a mysterious stranger on his rooftop. Alternatively, the Emperor of China has heard rumours of an intruder sneaking into the Forbidden City, a shadow that has eluded the best of his guards. (Alternatively, Wei Ying just really wanted a drink.) (This is a great Royalty AU story with intrigue and mystery that I've been following for close to four years and now that it was completed earlier this week, I can finally rec it)

Summary: There is a world where Wei Wuxian could not take another word of slander towards a mother whose smile he couldn’t even remember, a father whose embrace he couldn’t recall the warmth of. A world where he could not take another beating, another misplaced punishment, another thoughtless insult. Perhaps he grows tired of fooling himself into thinking that he has a place in Lotus Pier. That he belongs. That he is wanted. Loved. (AU where WWX leaves the Jiang and winds up finding a home. Delightful.)
