[personal profile] glitteryv posting in [community profile] recthething
Every Thursday, we have a community post, just like this one, where you can drop a rec or five in the comments.

This works great if you only have one rec and don't want to make a whole post for it, or if you don't have a DW account, or if you're shy. ;)

(But don't forget: you can deffo make posts of your own seven days a week. ;D!)

So what cool fancrafts/fanvids/fics/podfics/fanart/other kinds of fanworks have we discovered this week? Drop it in the comments below. Anon comment is enabled.

BTW, AI fanworks are not eligible for reccing at recthething. If you aware that a fanwork is AI-generated, please do not rec it here.

I'd make this a separate post but I only entered into my database this week two fics that were either favorites or exceptionally well-written, and I don't think people necessarily want every fic I enter rec'd to them (there's a fair amount of variance in fic quality). So I'm thinking if there are three or fewer fics that qualify, I'll add them as comments to the last community recs post instead of making a post just for them.

These are both for the fantastic film The Fugitive, starring Harrison Ford and Tommy Lee Jones. Major ships and themes are listed beneath to help people decide if they're up their alley.

The heart = favorite, the check mark = exceptionally well-written.

favorite OrionLady - Cosmic Irony, 16517 words, PG-13
It’s like the start of a bad joke—Richard stumbled into his office, Homer Simpson bowtie askew, and waved a bouquet of pages in his face. Gerard blames that stupid hoodie. Now if only everyone could stop getting shot...
Samuel Gerard & Richard Kimble
Action / Adventure, Angst, Friendship, Hurt/Comfort (Emotional), Hurt/Comfort (Physical), Injured / Sick, Positive Ending

favorite exceptionally well-written OrionLady - The Anatomy of a Heartbreak Éclair, 23645 words, PG-13
Richard survived on his own, solved the mystery of his wife’s killer (mostly) on his own, stitched injuries on his own. He’s not very good at asking for help when he’s in trouble. Not even from a new friend. Luckily, Sam’s not very good at sitting on the sidelines.
Samuel Gerard & Richard Kimble
Friendship, Hurt/Comfort (Emotional), Hurt/Comfort (Physical), Nonsexual Physical Touch, Physical Abuse, Positive Ending, Post-Traumatic Stress / Trauma Recovery

For anyone stumbling across this and wondering what I'm talking about by a database, you can find more info on it linked from my master recs post. The rest of the fics I entered this week were added to the Profiler and Tiny Fandom posts (under The Fugitive) so you can find them all there.
