I desperately wanted trans Megan after reading this series, and this short fic delivers. The dramatic swings in her life are presented very deftly, and the confidence she reaches is really satisfying.

This is both a delightfully meta romp through several of the poems and a really sharp critique of the gender roles and other societal restrictions in them. I love the process by which Mrs. Dupree recovers different pieces of her name and starts setting boundaries.
