recthethingTiny fandoms time! (At least the database is perfect for that right now, since those are what I started with.) I've rec'd some of these in earlier posts but I'm starting to lose track of which, lol, other than I know I've rec'd all the ones under 1k and over 50k, so I'll eliminate those here and just show the ones in between, which is a lot of them. I'm defining "tiny" as Yuletide-eligible, which technically includes Matrix fic at this point, I believe. (A bit of a loophole, that, but it's not the only one, at least.) I also eliminated any WIPs (as I did with the over 50k post) because I know a lot of people who don't like reading anything that's not complete (especially if there's little to no chance of it being finished).
Again, ratings from Fanfiction.net were translated into G to R, and ratings from AO3 were translated into PG to X (which was shorter than NC-17). Anything not rated on AO3 or other sites is marked Unrated. I'll try to give warnings if there's anything that would fall under the big four AO3 warnings, and any ships.
I don't promise that all of these are necessarily the best-written (though many are!), just that they have something about them that I've really enjoyed, and hopefully you will find the same thing in some of them. :)

Date: 2020-09-28 12:34 am (UTC)Anyway, that's the one great thing about stumbling on a fandom years later - there's all this fic waiting for you to read it. :D And I hadn't even finished reading and adding the Matrix fic to my database - this is NOT the sum total of all the Matrix fics I'm going to end up loving and wanting to rec, but I don't know how I'll keep track of which I have posted or not at this point, lol. So I guess if you want to browse the full lists you can see them here, and when I finish processing the Yahoo Groups metadata (I estimate another month of work on it?) I'll return to working on the database and see if I can't figure out where I left off in reading and adding fics, and update the favorites list there (and create any other lists as requested - it's really not hard to set up queries and reports) and you can monitor that way if you want to. Or just do what I was doing, and actually go through the many many pages of fic (but you have to wade through a lot of mediocre ones to find the gems).
