Community Recs Post!
Mar. 25th, 2021 09:12 amEvery Thursday, we have a community recs post, like this one, where you drop a rec or five in the comments. This works great if you only have one rec and don't want to make a whole post for it, or if you don't have a DW account to make posts of your own, or if you're shy.;)
(But don't forget, you're free to make posts seven days a week! :D!)
So what cool fic/vid/art have we discovered this week? Drop it in the comments below. Anon comment is enabled.

Fandom: Star Trek TOS
Rating: T
Warnings: Creator Chose Not To Use Archive Warnings, however I would say warning for major character death, but the deaths are not permanent, and a suicide attempt
Relationships: Kirk/Spock/McCoy
Summary: Jim has two big problems right now. The first is that he is hopelessly in love with his First Officer and his Chief Medical Officer, and neither seems to return his feelings. The second is that he's stuck in a time loop where his ship is destroyed and his crew killed, over and over again.
Things can never be simple for James T. Kirk, can they?
Reccer's Note: This fic is compelling, but also sometimes heartbreaking. Kirk is stuck in a time loop where everyday the Enterprise and it's crew are destroyed, and he can't seem to stop it. The author does a great job exploring Kirk's feelings, him realizing how deep his love for Spock and Bones is, and his devastation at his inability to save them over and over again. Plus, Kirk's attempts at trying to stop the time loop all seem plausible, including the days he is depressed and doesn't get out of bed. A great example of the time loop trope.
