Bang-tan So-nyeon-dan!

FANART

* Mermaid Magic by rou_tan_tan - A short yet extremely adorable comic in which RM discovers something new about merman!Jungkook.


* Untitled Jimin art by artenicco - V. artistique Jimin portrait based on the promo for the 2021 Winter Package. I really like the balance between the light and dark parts of the piece.


* Our Sunshine by yumy_yoki - A vibrant profile piece of Hobi.

* Who Wants (to be) a Billionaire? by seathehorizon (Teen, Taehyung/Jimin/Yoongi, 12k) - Inspired by a suggestion from their friend Jungkook, Taehyung and Jimin decide to pretend to be engaged to be married and get a lot of presents and money from unsuspecting rich ppl.

The one thing they hadn't planned for was for Yoongi to show up wanting to help them with their wedding OR that he'd turn out to be so cute.

A bit of a loopy story featuring Maknae line shenanigans, Yoongi being the cool yet soft older guy, and a nice serving of sweetness alongside the lulz.


* let's play forever i just want to be your by haneul (Teen, Seokjin/Taehyung/Yoongi, 7k) - When Seokjin goes to a local cat shelter, he ends up meeting and trading bad puns with Yoongi, the handsome guy who runs the shelter…

This is the best kind of soft established couple brings in a third I've read in recent weeks. It's perfect (or would that be "purrrrfect"?) for those days when you want a mellow story to relax to.

Just a few from me today, again MDZS/Untamed, two fic recs:

Maybe The Second Time Around by VoidRune (5k)
Summary: Lan Ying had always been bad at this being a Lan thing. He was a bit too wild, a bit too loud. Breaking the rules came more naturally to him than following them. But he tried his best, and he wasn’t one to give up easily. And hey, it even works half of the time. Things are a bit more complicated when he is the kind of troublemaker that managed to break the rules of reincarnation of all things. (Absolutely delightful AUish future reincarnation fic with a wonderful ending twist I won't spoil)

The Burial Grounds by WithBroomBefore (3k also has an adorably sweet embedded art piece)
Summary snippet: It is only a few minutes before a different employee appears with their orders, mugs and bowls balanced precariously enough that Lan Wangji watches the soup in some alarm. But the dishes and their contents reach the table safely, which means that he can look up when the server says brightly, “Can I get you anything else?"

Lan Wangji thinks, Oh. He only barely prevents himself from saying it aloud, and the effort keeps him from speaking at all. (wonderful and sweet coffee shop AU)

and two comics from tumblr:
the first: a little comic about hands, love, and owning a body that was not your own (slightly heartwrenching as WWX ponders MXY and the body he gave him)
its sequel: a sequel of sorts. turns out, lan wangji does think about it. (LWJ's thoughts about WWX's (and MXY!WWX's) hands- beautiful)

Old Guard Recs!

Relationships: Joe/Nicky, Aziraphale/Crowley
Summary: “Nicky, my heart,” Joe said as he followed Nicky through the busy streets, “you know that one bookshop from more than a century ago won’t be there, and even if it is, it’ll be some corporate-”
And then Joe stopped in his tracks because there it was, just as he remembered, with a slightly more faded sign. A.Z. Fell & Co.
“Well damn,” Joe said. “I’m impressed.”
Joe and Nicky revisit a bookshop where Nicky once almost fought the shopkeeper. And somehow he’s still there after 150 years. And then Crowley walks in with a bottle of wine. It’s a strange day even for immortals.
Reccer's Note: A humorous story where Joe and Nicky meet Aziraphale and Crowley. This concept is rather entertaining, and worth the read for the surprised, but also blase, reactions from everyone involved (especially Crowley).

A couple of Boku no Hero Academia fanart recs from twitter!:

.Aizawa & Shinsou and All Might & Deku parallels by viria13; I just super love how All Might and Aizawa's figures are silhouetted against Deku and Shinsou, and all the emotion in these moments! They're so good. ;u;
.Red string of fate All Might & Deku by m_tmei; I super love red strings of fate, and it's such a good trope with these two. (I've had a super similar art idea like this for a while, and it's really cool to see someone else with the same idea too! <3)
