BTS goodies...

FANART

* RM by GiggyOmo - A b&w piece AND a 3-D pop art version inspired by a photo of Namjoon. I love the contrast between both arts. BTW, the artist has included the photo they were inspired by below the original tweet.


* Life is a word that sometimes you can't say by _BySherry - A fascinating piece inspired by Namjoon's second mixtape "Mono". The delicate nature of watercolor painting adds a lot of feeling to the end result.


FICS

* Just Ask by herecomesaspecialboy (Explicit, RM/Taehyung, 16.1k) - A/B/O + Non-Idol AU in which Alpha!RM pines to meet an Alpha who will knot him.

There are so many reasons why this fic is one of my faves: the trope inversion of Alpha/Alpha, the worldbuidling, RM being a total goober AND a good person, Taehyung's weirdness turned to the maximum level, and the pack dynamics going on. It's a pretty delightful read that offers lulz + some hot times.


* puppet by wildlikeawolfpack (Teen, OT7, 21k) - Non-Idol AU + Soulmates AU with an original (to me, at least) twist: you get stuck in a time loop after running into your soulmate in order to give you a chance to meet and bond.

A Jimin-centric AU that works a simple trope into something more introspective. It not only touches on the romance of having a soulmate (or six, like in Jimin's case), but also the consequences of that. How do you accommodate your life when you meet the person/people you're meant to be with? What if they're already with someone?


* nebulae by onthistangent (Explicit, Yoongi/Jungkook, 14.7k) - Non-Idol + College AUs in which Yoongi accidentally overhears Jungkook coming out to his mother on the phone.

I liked the way Yoongi rationalized his indecision in being with Jungkook. He had to face some consequences for it (nothing terrible, just regular life stuff) before making a choice. Jungkook was adorable and Jimin/Taehyung brought the lulz.

While I know zero about this fandom, can I say that I greatly appreciate that every time I come to one of these posts, there is a comprehensive list of interesting things to potentially tempt me. Today, I think I've clicked on the first of such :)
