* Untitled Jungkook fanart by C0R0_XIII - I am in AWE at the way the artist used different hues of white to create this piece.


* AJ Ortega has done AMAZING Jungkook and Taehyung ink art over on TikTok. I respect anyone who has the patience and focus to do fanart like these.

FICS

* Hands Up by colourhopeyellow (Not Rated, Seokjin/Taehyung, 2k, Meet Cute (at a halloween party) AU - A short but extremely charming fic in which Taehyung goes to his friends party and meets The Most Beautiful Man in the World (™).

I love the humor in this story. The author also did an excellent job in characterization for both the ship and their friends.


* charmed by kaythebest (Rated Teen, RM/Seokjin, 23.4) Fantasy AU - Seokjin gets offered as the next sacrifice for dragon. He's not happy about it. ;)

One of the best things abt this fic is how it manages to throw zigs and zags into the narrative that will keep you entertained from the get go. There's a strong zany vibe that makes reading this fic a v. enjoyable experience.

Three unexpectedly related Untamed/MDZS fic recs from me today! (But who doesn't like cats?):

A Purrfect Day in Gusu by DrJLecter (21k)
Summary: During the guest disciples' stay in Cloud Recesses young Lan Zhan gets turned into a cat by a curse from an unexpected source. Wei Wuxian tries his best to help, after he is done laughing. The end result is a surprising one for everyone but Lan Xichen. (absolutely sweet fic and the WWX interacts with cat!LWJ is utterly adorable)

Summary: Wei Wuxian gets turned into a cat. Somehow it becomes Jin Ling’s problem. (exactly what it says on the tin and very, very cute)

Summary Snippet: The thing was, Wei Ying wasn't always chaos in feline form. Most of the time he was a perfectly normal human, or at least, as normal as a werecat could be. As normal as anyone could be if they were forced to spend three nights every lunar month in a cat-shaped body.... Meeting Lan Zhan in cat form was entirely accidental. (absolutely delightful modern shifter!AU)

Just one art rec this week, Bungou Stray Dogs: Quick sketch, Chuuya/Dazai by lex_dark_; maid Dazai and butler Chuuya, I really love their outfits and their poses; the sense of motion with Dazai holding up his skirt and stepping forward is so good. <3

You can really get a sense of movement in the way Dazai's holding up the skirt. Cool rec!

A funny comic with Darcy and Jane that made me giggle. I love all the background details.

Fanfic:

Clark Kent is Dead by brokenhighways (Smallville, Clark-centric, Clark/Lois, Unrated, 14516w)
Clark has been through a lot in the past year. Lois has vanished. He's lost contact with his friends and Zod has taken over Earth. He should be doing everything in his power to make things right, but he's numb to it all.
I did beta this and only just found that they had posted it. A very good Clark character study with Clois throughout that is set post "Doomsday" and explores the "Pandora" universe. It's really well thought out and great characterization throughout.

While cleaning up the loft, Clark gets distracted by Lois.
Basically, a steamy Clois fic. Very great, and they're both perfectly in character.
