Every Thursday, we have a community recs post, just like this one, where you can drop a rec or five in the comments. This works great if you only have one rec and don't want to make a whole post for it, or if you don't have a DW account to make posts of your own, or if you're shy. ;)

Busy week so only a few from me today. Shockingly, they are MDZS/Untamed fics again:

Summary for first fic: Lan Zhan's neighbor plays flute at three in the morning, because he is the worst man to ever have existed, and furthermore, the universe hates Lan Zhan specifically. (utterly sweet modern musicians/music AU)

The Third Son of Qinghe Nie by hansbekhart (1.8k)
Summary Snippet: “Who are you?” Wei Wuxian asks finally.

Sizhui takes a deep breath. This is it. He isn’t ready. But he is. Er-ge said so. He lets his eyes fill with tears and spill down his cheeks. Wei Wuxian leans away, probably unconsciously. Good, Sizhui thinks, a little viciously. He never promised Er-ge to tell Wei Wuxian the truth, but he has never had a better weapon at hand than exactly this.

“My name is Nie Sizhui,” Sizhui says. “I’m the master of the Unclean Realm, now.” (short, but well done and fascinating for the possibilities, canon divergent fic)
