Earlier this week I made a post with some Divergent - Veronica Roth recs.

I enjoyed In Cayenne and Honey, Vinegar and Lime, a long, M'Baku-centric Black Panther/MCU fic with embedded art (NSFW); It's more of a character study with sex in it than a sex or romance focused story. Graphic Depictions Of Violence ( and sex). James "Bucky" Barnes/M'Baku, M'Baku/Okoye, James "Bucky" Barnes/Steve Rogers.

Fics

* Until We Bloom by hkafterdark is a Jin/Jimin 4k-word fic set right after BTS performed at the 2019 Billboard Music Awards. It's a sensual piece that has great characterizations too.

* When This Song Comes To Its End by yoonminies is a 12k fic about single dad!Jungkook having a crush on Yoongi (who is one of his neighbors.) He's disappointed and a little embarrassed when he realizes that Yoongi is married...

This is a fluffy story + kidfic featuring a single dad ending up with two boyfriends. ;D

* Outro by oliviacirce. At 8.5k, this Porn With Feelings story is a neat coda AU to a concert moment in which Jimin started crying. The rest of the group decides to comfort him via an orgy. As one does.

* Counter Cockwise by tangowithsuga is a 24k and change fic in which Yoongi's crush on Jin becomes more intense after Jin posts a sorta naughty pic on Weverse (that's actually canonical. Also, yes, the pic is embedded in the fic for your browsing glory.) This story is a really good example of the kind of fic I enjoy: equal amounts of lulz and sexy times.

She tips the bottle and lets out three drops. As they fall to the stone floor, Joe and Nicky rap their knuckles on the nearest pieces of metal: the other lantern for Nicky, the oxidized helmet for Joe. One rap for each drop. In another time, they might have struck their swords on shields.

I absolutely loved this MDZS/The Untamed fic where Jiang Cheng acquires five perfectly-named dogs. Great jokes and lots of post-canon siblings/family/rebuilding-broken-relationships feelings.

Jiang Cheng has to stop and take a moment before he continues on to the next line:

You must come to Carp Tower as soon as you can and lavish praise on the ugliest dog I’ve ever seen.

And on the Untamed RPF side of the fandom, this 35k working-with-your-ex fic was excellent. I love a good story about getting back together.

This set of Leverage recs is not so much for the writing (though some of it is quite good), but because it has some very interesting ideas about Parker and darker takes on her and her understanding of sex/relationships, outside the usual. Warning for allusions to rape/non-con and child abuse in the first three fics below.
