Striking up a flirtation with his gorgeous right-hand woman, Wen Qing, isn't necessarily essential to an alliance between YunmengJiang and Yiling Burial Mounds, but it's certainly a perk. (fascinating modern cultivation AU plus great JYL/WQ)

Summary Snippet: Lan Wangji never wanted to have his betrothal thrown open to chance, but the Gusu Lan sect brings back the old custom of the Four Lords Tournament to the youth of the cultivation world, and it’s his hand on the line. (modern but not really, cultivation AU, great read)
