Every Thursday, we have a community recs post, like this one, where you can drop a rec or five in the comments. This works great if you only have one rec and don't want to make a whole post for it, if you don't have a DW account to make posts of your own, or if you're just shy. :)

Fanart

* kayedaily_ did this pretty clever send up of BTS' rapline using their song "UGH" as inpiration as well as this tremendously sweet fanart of BTS' vocal line (this time based on the song Zero O'Clock.

* anelderlymeme is an artist who posts over on Tik-Tok and Insta. They also upload their clips on Twitter.

- This post shows Jin talking about Italian food.

- In this post, Suga is trying to resist Taehyung's adorability.

- Finally, this is a re-enactment of Hobi ordering food at an US restaurant (which happened in an episode of BTS' travel series Bon Voyage).

Fics

* Doggy Style by ameliabedelias is a 10.5k fic in which college student!JK gets hired by ultra famous producer and rapper!Suga to walk his dog Holly. There's an inherent sweetness from beginning to end. No canon knowledge is necessary.


* Death By Baskin-Robbins by gokurakuji is a 14.8k Porn With Feelings fic in which Taehyung and Jungkook (who have been dating for a bit) decide to have anal sex. One of the things that I liked the most about this fic (aside from the porn--which was good) was how realistic Taehyung's reactions and thoughts were. He's excited AND freaked out; turned on AND cautious. This author has a real knack for writing sex in a way that is playful.


* let me breathe (i run, run, run) by SomebodyOwens is a 6k kink fic in which Jin finds peace thanks to Taehyung. This is my fave kind of domestic-ish kink: there's bondage (thanks to a hairband) and a quiet D/s dynamic that surprises Jin in the best way possible. (A little bit of context for those not in the fandom: as the oldest one in the group, Jin has a kind of responsibility that he tries to balance out by having a goofy personality. But Jin is a human being and, sometimes, he needs some downtime.)


* dressed in white noise by elfiepike is a 5k fic about Suga's propensity for liking trophies. In this instance, he gets turned on by a v. specific award that BTS did win IRL. RM--with whom Suga has an understanding--notices.

I really appreciated the way that the author wrote Suga's kink (and, since the story's from his POV, readers are able to understand the how and why of this particular kink.) Another thing that made this fic memorable and worth of reccing was the way it depicted kink negotiations in a way that doesn't look down on Suga for being into something that others would consider "weird." My only gripe is that I wanted to read about 50k more about all of it. ;)
