* Cowboy Yoongi and PTD tannies here to do the That That dance with Psy hyungnim by Plumleah - Exactly what it says on the tin. ;)


* That That Yoong by nauidal - A kinetic fanart that shows cowboy!Yoongi mid-rap. I love how everything from Yoongi's expression (oooof at that side smirk!) to the position of his hands exude attitude. <3_____<3

Again, perfect rendering of Yoongi's vibes throughout the mv. In this instance, we see him from the moment he starts his rap and it's just a lot of a LOT of hotness, LOL.

* Masterpiece by lotoftrash (Mature, RM/Taehyung, 13.3k) - Taehyung has had the MOST WONDERFUL night of his life with the man of his dreams.

Unfortunately for him, he doesn't remember what his Dream Man looks like cuz he has an intense case of face blindness. That said, he does remember what Dream Man's 🍆 looks like…and this is an IMPORTANT PART of the plot. I promise!

This University AU goes big comedy-wise. FTR, neither the author nor any of the characters ever make fun of Taehyung due to his disability. At the same time, though, there are some rather intense misunderstandings that make total sense to the reader.

I'm new to the comm thanks to vriddy

For the past two weeks I've been rereading and reliving my absolutely favorite Merlin fic. It's a series that picks up soon after Arthur dies and then you find yourself in modern times. It's called "We Begin Again and it's just amazing. I am so enamored by the first fic in the series, and the others are good - but the first fic in the series is my favorite.

In Fire, an absolutely AMAZING Star Wars Prequel Trilogy fixit, just finished today. It features Anakin, Jesse, and Obi-Wan crashing in Silent Hill while chasing Maul, and it's technically a Silent Hill fusion but can be read without knowledge of SH. It features some of the best Anakin characterization work I've seen, appropriately mind twisty occurrences, and Anakin growing into a better person and fixing himself, rather than some external person fixing him. This is a strong contender for the best Star Wars fic I have ever read.

Only two from me today, in two different fandoms:

Nirvana in Fire: Accidental Immortal by DC_Derringer (34k)
Summary: Lin Shu took the bingxu pill and rode off to glorious battle for the empire he had fought so hard to protect. He fought, he fell, but then he woke up again. For the next 1500 years he wandered the world, seeing the faces of his friends over and over again as they reincarnated around him never recognizing him again. But one face was missing in all his centuries of living - Xiao Jingyan. (really fascinating non-AU(technically?) modern set post-canon fic.)

MDZS/The Untamed: All the ways that you remain by Spodumene (23k)
Summary: When Lan Zhan must return to Shanghai for a month, he leaves his beloved home in the care of Wei Ying, a timely new acquaintance. But what happens when Lan Zhan returns to find that Wei Ying has nowhere else to go? (gentle and sweet modern AU)

I read this Ice/Mav fic from Topgun that I had in my marked for laters for awhile. Not only is it scorching hot, but the ending is so satisfying and just romantic enough to fit these two.

I have a vid rec! Be warned that this contains very major spoilers for Sarazanmai, though.

HATE THIS AND I'LL LOVE YOU - MUSE [REOMABU] [SARAZANMAI AMV] by beepathan on YouTube is extremely underrated. The timing and emotion is incredible, and I thought the song choice was very good. I really loved how despite how intense the song was, the vid still has an ending that fits how ReoMabu's arc resolved. Overall a really well paced vid that deserves more love!

If for some reason you want to watch this canon-blind, be warned for vague/implied sexual assault, non-bloody fantasy gore, blood, character death, guns, and nudity.
