* Untitled Taehyung/Jimin Fanart by damnkillerloop - A fantastical piece featuring possibly magical tattoos, a baroque version of Jimin's outfit from the "Black Swan" mv, and a Taehyung whose otherworldliness is ethereal.


* Seokjin and his new friend by blankston_bt - Super sweet fanart of merman!Seokjin and a small shark. I love the playful vibe.


* Untitled Merman!Yoongi fanart by sanggchu - A simple piece featuring Yoongi relaxing on some coastal rocks. I couldn't help but smile when I saw this fanart.


* Merkoo by Cherymochii - Incredibly cute fanart of merman!Jungkook meeting an adorable crab frand. I love the color palette as well as the detail of Jungkook's tattoos. :D


* Two little merboys by dontworrymochi - A soft fanart of mermen!Yoongi (in dark blue) and Hobi (in bright orange) have fun while swimming ^___^

FICS

* dancing with the stars (but you're the brightest one) by hopeboos (Rated G, RM/Jimin, 9.9k) - Disgraced rapper!RM is offered a chance at public redemption via a dancing competition. Which would be fine…except for the fact that he's got two left feet.

Making matters worse is the fact that his dancing partner and teacher, one Park Jimin, is sweet in a way that leaves RM feeling a little dizzy.

For such a short fic, this one is quite fun. The plot follows RM and Jimin as they train and then battle it out to not get eliminated. Deffo worth checking out.


* What Would Hyung Do? by jawsbar (Rated Teen, Yoongi/RM/Hobi, background Taehyung/Jimin, 19.5k) - Yoongi isn't too keen to accept Seokjin's request to be the new advice columnist for their college newspaper, but he ends up reluctantly agreeing to fill the position.

At the v. least, he'll be able to help others with everything from questions abt STIs to romantic entanglements. If only Yoongi was able to use his wisdom to stop pining over not one but two guys…

This was a story that surprised me with a depth of feelings amid lots of lulzy moments. Another thing that made me really like this fic were all the small details abt life in Seoul (including culture.) The pining and (momentary) heartbreaks were delish too.

I stayed up way too late yesterday reading this Temeraire a/b/o WIP: Resurgence, 135k, sloooow burn (as in, the main characters only met a few chapters ago)

.Fushiguro/Gojou by zyuhusiaka; I love the suits and how Gojou's is half-shrugged off, and how Gojou's head is leaned towards Fushiguro's, it's a sweet moment. <3
.Fushiguro/Gojou by Jamon0Iberico; this is just so sweet! I love the domesticity of the top two panels, how the picnic panel implies a special occasion, and how happy they are together at the bottom. <3

.Aizawa/Shirakumo kiss by kan_kan_77; this is so sweet! There's a nervous and excited feeling to this that makes it seem like a first kiss, and it's really cute, especially for them. <3

.Dazai/Oda dance by odz_yonasa; this is so incredibly sweet, they look so happy together and it's so bittersweet, aww. I really love the composition of the background especially, with the pink and the pages and the petals surrounding them. <3

MDZS/The Untamed:
I read a fic from the MDZS Reverse Big Bang today and really enjoyed it:
A Bridge in the Dark by wanderingflame.
WangXian, ~15k, E, hurt/comfort, golden core reveal, pining, love confessions.
A brush with death reveals more than Wei Wuxian plans for and forces Lan Wangji to face his feelings.

Fanart: Another great one by 狐狸大王a / Foxking, this time sad Lan Wangji.

Guardian: cracking open a cold one (it's a boy!!) by presumenothing (justjoy) (2k, 520 Day Guardian Reverse Exchange 2022)
Summary Snippet: Zhao Yunlan puts his detective skills elite squad delegation skills to good(?) use. (absolutely adorable)

MDZD/Untamed: Meeting from a thousand miles away by Spodumene (25k)
Summary: Wherever you go, there you are. It's all about who goes with you. (A wonderfully sweet modern AU meet-cute where LWJ is a hotel reviewer and WWX a flight attendant and they fall in love)

The River Brought You Here by ChilianXianzi (12k)
Summary: When she found the boy by the side of the river, Zhou Jia knew that anyone who'd come for him is not to be trusted. Not with the dark purple fingerprints around his throat, the veritable map of lashes old and new upon his back. It's almost a blessing, she thinks, that the boy remembers none of the life that had treated him so cruelly. That he's free to just be A-Ying, in this small harbour town that he embraces so readily as his home. The day someone does come for him, she had not expected it to be the war hero Hanguang-Jun - Saying A-Ying name with such fervent hope before it turns into anguish as A-Ying fails to recognize him. (Canon divergent AU post fall of Lotus Pier where WWX's life is saved from dying after the choking incident by a rogue cultivator but his memories are gone. Amnesiac WWX feels very true and IC and still is active during Sunshot, but not by fighting but rather helping the common people. - note- not JC friendly)

Reccer's Note: The crew think Izzy has been changed into a vegetable, some care and some don't, but this leads to many of them treating the Izzy!choke (ha) like a baby. This fic is adorable and hilarious!
