* Our Best is Yet to Come by Aish_ish14 - Golden-hued and peaceful fanart in which we get to see the Loneliest Whale alongside an HYYH version of BTS celebrating. Out of all of the amazing pieces I've seen celebrating BTS' 9 years, this was the one that spoke the most to my heart and so I share it over here. <3

This is a quiet and tender story of love and Namjooning. Also a fic abt Yoongi opening his heart and reflecting on his feelings for RM. It's perfect if you're in the mood for the kind of gentle story to comfort you.

Recs for some new MDZS/Untamed fic from me today:

Caught Between Sun and Shadows by (72k, MDZS Reverse Big Bang 2022)
Summary: The Sunshot Campaign was losing. It was only a matter of time before Wen Ruohan beat them into submission. There were rumours surrounding a force in Yiling that could potentially turn the tide. The place was taken from the Wen early in the war but no one knows by whom, known only as the 'Yiling Patriarch'. All forces that the Wen have sent to try and retake Yiling have been destroyed entirely. If he allied with the campaign then it could potentially turn the tide of the war. A messenger was sent to him asking what he wants in exchange for an alliance. The response came back: the heir of one of the Great Sects in marriage. For the war to be won, someone must be sacrificed. (canon divergent, alternate Sunshot Campaign fic with LWJ slowly developing feelings for the husband he barely knows and the issues he and having to deal with that and how the others fear/deal with WWX's powers)

Found: Extremely Friendly Fox by wanderingflame (22k, MDZS Reverse Big Bang 2022)
Summary: Lan Sizhui has never rescued a fox as friendly, intelligent and mischievous as this. How did it get separated from its owner? ---- Wei Wuxian has woken up in a lot of strange places over the years, but he never would have expected to wake up in the house of a Lan. (absolutely delightfully sweet modern shifter fic)

a flaw in my heart's design by citystoryscapes (25k, MDZS Reverse Big Bang 2022)
Summary Snippet: A few years into their marriage, Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji encounter a highly puzzling case; a curse that kills with no trace or inclination, a town where the dead are no longer remembered, and memories that haunt them at every step. A question that remains: what does it mean to remember, in the face of death? (Excellent post canon bookverse casefic)

Sonata no. 159 in C Major by nirejseki (5k)
Summary: Maybe Wei Wuxian should have thought twice before trying out that array, but in his defense he had no idea it would turn him back into a five-year-old...or that Lan Qiren of all people would have had the misfortune to get swept up in the effects of the array along with him. At least there are cookies. (Sweet, and slightly melancholic, WWX and LQR get de-aged fic)

So I found something recently that was newish to me. There was a great fic written a while back that was a Nursey/Dex AU where Nursey, a college professor, meets Dex, a professional NHL player. I had no idea but there was a sequel written that goes so much farther into their relationship. It's pretty awesome if you like Check, Please! and these two.

I swear, these two are one of my true OTPs. If I had to only read & write one or two pairings instead of "fandom grazing", Nursey/Dex would definitely be in the top 3 (vacillating between first and second place depending on my mood).
