This fic is goofy and proud of it. There's plenty of lulz alongside the romantic moments. And even those lovey-dovey instances are tailored to the characterizations. I actual!LOL'd while reading this and figured y'all would enjoy it too. :D

I came into this world/bringing only paper, rope, a shadow by cthulu_sun (8k, MDZS Reverse Big Bang 2022)
Summary Snippet: Lan Wangji, whilst researching early musical cultivation, discovers a mysterious qinpu that feels strangely familiar. Through investigating its origins he meets Wei Wuxian, and together the two of them unravel the mystery surrounding the music and its connection to the infamous Yiling Patriarch. (Almost lyrically done modern cultivation university and more AU)

Summary: After an incident during a raid, Ed finds himself splashed with a substance that makes the entire crew fall in love with him. Everyone seems to be falling all over themselves to get their captain's attention, except Stede, who's just as in love with Ed as ever. Will Buttons be able to make an antidote before anyone embarrasses themselves too badly? And why's Izzy so much angrier than usual, anyway?
Reccer's Note: The author was able to write a love potion trope fic that wasn't overly embarrassing or cringey which is quite a skill, all of the crew realizes pretty quickly that their attraction to Ed is because of magic goo, so they are mostly able to keep themselves under control, although they do have some moments. Also, once Ed realizes Izzy's true feelings the Steddyhands threesome just naturally happens without much angst, which is quite refreshing for this pairing.
