Every Thursday, we have a community recs post, like this one, where you can drop a rec or two in the comments. This works great if you only have one rec and don't want to make a whole post for it, or if you don't have a DW account to make posts of your own, or if you're shy. ;)

Summary: After the Ceremonial Duel, Marik leaves Egypt to see the world.

Marik and Ryou figure out how to get on with their lives after Marik's evil alter ego and the Spirit of the Ring are both gone. The epistolary aspect is done really well, and it presents an interesting window into Marik's psyche as he drifts through the world and tries to figure out human connections and interpersonal relationships. I also really like the writing style.
