I have always loved this fic about Granny Weatherwax, it's like a missing piece of canon and I reread it to cheer myself up after that very last book:

On the tray, the teapot steamed, and three mugs-Granny's full complement-stood ready, along with her sugar bowl, her two dented spoons, and a bowl of milk.
