I love the play between the light and the dark in that it teases both the shape of RM's body as well as everything that's hidden. CW for nude body. No genitals are shown, but you deffo see booty. >:)


* Context for the next rec: so, there's a thing abt Jungkook being Spider-man. He goes by Spider-koo. roughscribss tapped into the idea and created an Into the Spiderverse x BTS crossover called The Spider-Tan 'verse.

Here's Jungkook, Hobi, Taehyung, Jimin, Seokjin (CW for vomit in the second panel), RM, and Yoongi.

I really like how different everyone's suits are, the detail of the logos, their individual Spider-Man names, and the fact that everyone's Earth number is made up of their birthdates (yes, I'm aware the artist got RM's month wrong, they're aware of it.)

* we do not talk about book club by Lecrit (Rated Teen, Seokjin/Yoongi, other background ships, 24.8k, Mundane/Non-Idols AU) - RM invites both Yoongi and Seokjin to participate in the book club he (RM) and Hobi have created. There are rules that dictate what's okay and what's not allowed. Yoong and Seokjin break them.

There's a lot of banter, some interesting twists, and a ton of lulzy moments in this AU.

FTR, because the story centers around a book club, there are spoilery discussions abt the following books: The Song of Achilles, Fahrenheit 451, the entire Harry Potter series, Les Miserables, Twilight, and Giovanni's Room.


* Echo Chorus by smiles (Rated Teen, Seokjin/Yoongi, Jungkook/Jimin, RM/Hobi, 98.4k) - LISSSSSSSSSSSEN, I know (I. KNOW.) I've said that I'm the kind of slow reader who will have a hard time reading anything over 30k at once. And yet, I'm here a week later after the last Thursdays recs post to, ONCE AGAIN, say that I read this almost 100k fic IN ONE GORRAM SITTING BECAUSE IT WAS THAT GOOD.

I do have to point out that I'm a total Persuasion heaux: I've read the novel many times, have watched all of the adaptations, etc. So, in a way, I feel I was predisposed to like this fic. I DIDN'T KNOW I WAS GONNA LOVE IT THIS MUCH, THO.

This author does an amazing job of bringing enough pieces from Jane Austen's novel to make it recognizable to any fans, but it's not an exact copy of it. For starters, the couples are all M/M and they work for smaller, independent labels.

IMO, you really don't need to be familiar with either Austen's book OR kpop to enjoy this wonderful fic. If you like:

Second chances

Pining with in close proximity

Gentle love declarations (in epistolary form)

A secondary ship that's super cute

Then you might want to check this fic out. IJS. ;D

Some new MDZS/Untamed fics recced from me today:

Tired of the Sunset by julomaiboulomai (56k MTXT bigbang)
Summary: These days, Lan Zhan has more names than friends. As Masked hero Hanguang-jun, he protects the night; as Lan Zhan, he nurtures his ward, A-Yuan. His only friend, his partner, and his almost-lover, the Mask known to him as Wuxian has died, and he is alone.

And then comes Wei Ying, A-Yuan's father, returned miraculously from a year-long coma. In no time, he begins claiming Lan Zhan's heart. As for Hanguang-jun, he finds himself chasing the elusive Yiling Patriarch, a new Masked threat with unnerving powers and a disturbingly familiar laugh.

Lan Zhan, Hanguang-jun, the whole person made of them both: he must fight through the confusion to the heart of the conflict, and in the process, learn the truth of his own heart. (Absolutely loved this superhero-AU, the story was great, its worldbuilding was incredible and characters completely IC. Also has wonderful art!)

A Wish I Can't Stop Making by Tirielle (51k, MXTX bigbang fic)
Summary: It's been months since Jin Zixuan was injured by bandits at Qiongqi path, leaving him in a coma that no doctor seems able to wake him from. Jiang Yanli is left to face the fractures in her husband’s family on her own as she searches for answers, determined to find a solution even if it means reading the whole library herself. She’s set her heart on having her family whole and together again, and if that seems impossible — well, she’s a Jiang.

It’s been months since Wei Wuxian almost killed Jin Zixuan at Qiongqi path and agreed to a contract with a strange wish-granting shop to try and keep everything from getting worse. As long as he acts as the shopkeeper, spending his days serving the shop, the people of the Burial Mounds will be wiped from everyone’s memories so nobody can come after them. With this, Wei Wuxian expects to never see anyone from his old life ever again — but somehow, Lan Wangji still manages to find him.

Featuring laundry, garbage disposal, minor injuries, grocery shopping, and cooking.
Reccer's Notes: This was written for me for fandomtrees, and it is a delight! All the TVA agents come to Loki for help with everyday tasks, but he has no idea what he is doing, but of course he won't admit that. He comes so close on occasion, but always misses the mark. This had me laughing, but also somewhat hoping that Loki would get at least something right.
