An extension of thisbluespirit's fic (which is also excellent) that is a lot of fun! And then it hits you. The characterisation is so on point.

A bizarre and hard to follow story. However, it is very atmospheric, and the prose is wonderful. It's one of those stories that takes you for a ride basically.

This started as a comment on the weekly community recs post but it got a bit long, so I decided to turn it into a proper post for the comm!

Friends at the Table fandom always has amazing fanart but it's been an even greater feast for my eyes than usual lately because a) a fan (wereshrew-admirer) arranged an FATT Pinup Week last month and b) there've been some wild developments in canon that really got people's creative juices flowing. Here are a few pieces from tumblr that I'm obsessed with.

Most of these are from the show's space seasons (with a couple pinups of Pickman from Sangfielle thrown in) so if anyone reading this is canon-blind but happens to love fun, vibrant alien designs and/or giant mecha, these may appeal to you too.
